Can a High-Tech Base Layer Make You A Better Skier? Forbes’ Larry Olmsted Thinks So

Forbes contributing writer Larry Olhmstead recently slipped on a pair of Opedix KNEE-Tec Tights during a ski trip to Jackson Hole and found a favorite new tool for his downhill pursuits.

"My perception is that I had appreciably less fatigue each day, was generally able to ski later in the day without sacrificing performance, and never woke up sore – except after the day I skipped wearing the tights, when I got up stiff and feeling 10 years older. Did my legs still burn at times, especially towards the end of the day? Absolutely. I’m not suggesting this is a panacea or alternative to fitness, but in what was, again, an apples to oranges comparison, I feel pretty certain that the tights improved my endurance and/or recovery.”
