Ryan Light

Elite Runner | Alpharetta, Georgia

Being raised in NYC, Ryan left home to go out west. After spending sometime in California, he finally made his way to Seattle. He stayed in Seattle for almost 20 years before moving to the metro Atlanta area. Ryan is what some would call a late bloomer to the sport of running. He didn't start running until he was 38 years old (5 years ago). In fact he would say that running literally saved his life. Suffering from severe OCD, panic, and anxiety most of his life, he tried everything from diets, vitamins, and conventional medicines – nothing worked. After a friend of his started running and saw some benefits, Ryan decided to give is a try. After his first mile he was hooked! Today he has run over over 50 Half Marathons, Two Full Marathons, and countless amounts of 5 & 10Ks while loving every minute of it. He now coaches others in the sport in which he loves, and has found that running can change lives.
