Wendy Fisher

Skier, Mom, Non-profit Executive Director | Crested Butte, Colorado

One of the most prolific female freeskiers or our time, Wendy Fisher currently calls Mt. Crested Butte, Colorado, home. She attended Burke Mountain Academy in Vermont (1986-‘89), then spent 7 years with the U.S. Ski Team, chasing World Cup points around the globe, and earned a spot on the '92 Winter Olympic team, for Downhill/Slalom combined and GS.
After leaving the national team, she racked up multiple first place finishes in the World Extreme Skiing Championships and collected multiple Powder Magazine Reader Poll Awards, just to name a couple of her many achievements. When she isn’t teaching or guiding at Crested Butte Mountain Resort, or coaching in Portillo, Chile, at the Superstars Ski Camp, Wendy is at home raising her two sons and shepherding the Crested Butte Snowsports Foundation as Executive Director.
