[This quick 15 minute exercise routine from Women's Health Magazine will help you keep your kinetic chain in the best shape possible. – The Opedix Editors]
Dr. Jordan D. Metzl created this no-equipment, do-anywhere workout to complement an outdoor running routine. It will help build strength in the areas runners need it most, so you'll not only have a more toned lower half, but also ward off injury and increase running efficiency. Starting with the first exercise, complete the prescribed number of reps, then rest 15 seconds; repeat this pattern for three minutes. Rest 30 seconds, then do the same for the second and third exercises. After resting for 30 seconds, finish with the fourth exercise.
