A fifth generation Jackson Hole, Wyoming, native, Forrest Jillson lives to ski. Normally on the snow or thinking about skiing, Forrest trains year round at Mountain Athlete in Jackson to keep up his strength, endurance and gain a competitive advantage. In the summer, Forrest does commercial fishing in Alaska. For the past two winters Jillson has been competing on the Freeride World Qualifying Tour against some of the best skiers in the world. Composed of two regions, The Americas and Europe/New Zealand, the Big Mountain competitive free skiing circuit moves the top 3 skiers to the Freeride World Tour. Forrest finished last season's tour ranked 4th for the American region and 9th in the world by garnering two top ten results and a win at the finals in Big Sky, Montana.
