Seppi Stiegler

Skier, Member of Team America | Vail, Colorado

Raised near Jackson Hole, Wyoming, Seppi Stiegler was on skis and following in the footsteps of his three-time Olympic medalist father by age two. During a successful collegiate career at The University of Denver, Seppi was named a First-Team All American, finished third in slalom at the 2011 U.S. Alpine Championships and won the NCAA giant slalom title his senior year. After graduation, an invitation to the U.S. Ski Team's spring tryout camp in Mammoth Mountain, California, resulted in a nomination to the 2012 squad and the debut of World Cup level skiing for Seppi. Not long after, an invitation for a spot on Team America and a move to Vail, Colorado, followed. The switch to Team America proved to be a good move for Seppi, who landed on the 2013 National Championship podium and skied his way to World Cup personal bests and the highest world rank of his career.
